Chapter 73

Ashley woke up in a strange room.

There were no windows or other sources of natural light, only dim lamps.

The mattress he was lying on felt hard, and the room smelled damp.

Next to him was a toilet, and not far from it was food that had been carelessly placed there by one of the guards who had just passed by.

In front of him were iron bars.

On the uncomfortable mattress, he tried to get up and move his body, only to find that both of his legs were bound by iron chains.

He was clearly familiar with those iron chains. They were none other than slave chains.

At that moment, he realized his current situation.

He laughed bitterly. Once, he was the respected leader of a clan that enslaved humans.
