I rushed towards Jason and when I got to him I practically threw myself into his arms. He hugged me tightly and Xavier cleared his throat as a result. That was understandable for me because it was very likely that he wanted to remind me of the pregnancy, which is why he found firm hugs questionable. For Jason, on the other hand, there shouldn't be a logical explanation.

I skillfully ignored my mate and said, "Hi Jason. You have no idea how happy I am that you guys are here." A wide grin automatically found my lips and I felt pure euphoria inside me. He kissed my head and replied, "Me too. Finally, I see your new home."
