The next morning I woke up and the first thing I looked at was the other side of the bed, but Xavier was no longer with me. To be sure, I saw the round in the room, but he wasn't there.

I was a bit disappointed, but I shouldn't have expected anything else. The man was busy as the alpha of a large pack. The question then arose as to whether I had just imagined it all. A crazy dream that after my nightmare had turned into a beautiful one. That was a possibility.

I grabbed the pillow next to me and smelled it. No, that had been real. It smelled like Xavier. He had slept in my bed. With a smile, I got up and walked over to the bathroom. Xavier stood by me. Strange but true.

Another reason for my smile was Finns and Marie. This surprise was the best Xavier could have given me. Didn't the man have a heart?

So I spent the next few days with Finns and Marie. I showed them my tailor shop and we spent a lot in the garden. I wasn't allowed to leave the gree
