The next morning came and I got up in a good mood, if a bit nervous. Who knows how things went with Xavier? But Finns and Marie were still here. Today was her last day, but I would enjoy it.

I left my room with a bang and almost ran into Finns, who was standing in front of my room door with his hand raised. He was about to knock. We both laughed at that and I shook my head. "Finns, that's what I call timing. What's up?" 

I had thought that we would see each other at breakfast. But yes, here stood my best friend. He sighed and replied: "Marie has been homesick, actually for two days, but she could stand it. But that's why I'd like to leave earlier today." In response, I nodded understandingly and it was meant that way.
