Chapter 145. He Knew

Each muscle flexed as he strode toward me. I couldn't pull my eyes from him, I just wanted to touch him, to reach out and feel him, just one touch.

When his head lifted, our eyes met, and I shuddered with desire. I was lost in the depths of his deep blue eyes. A warm sensation, building up in my abdomen had me clenching my thighs.

My breath stuttered at those blue eyes, so bright against his tanned skin and light brown hair. Take me now, my body hummed.

From my side, I felt Oliver shift his stance. His head craned around and then he looked at me. A knowing look in his eye, he looked at the Gladiator, then back at me.

A smug grin crept up from the corners of his mouth, and he bounced on the balls of his feet. Just once. I shuddered at his posture and that menacing look he now held on his face.

He knew.

He knew the Gladiator Wolf was my mate.
