Chapter 27. Twisted: Sticking Around

Max is a wise-ass dude. He just got what he wanted. Turning to face the demons, he said to them, “Who’s next?”

A while ago when the serpent goddess sank her pointy serpentine fangs into his neck, he activated the black crystal in him. He figured that out when the demons dragged him to the rooftop of the mansion. ‘Only if I could get her to bite me, I can vanquish or obliterate her.’
