Chapter 52. Deserted: Alone
Max made a rough landing at the center of a road. The place looks familiar. “Oh my goodness…” he quickly rose to his feet in excitement. “I’m home.”
Someone isn’t with him. It was supposed to be him and Jasmine back home. The look on his face suddenly changed realizing Lucifer blasted him into the red portal alone.
As he looks around, the look on his face changed more. Something isn’t right. Things aren’t the way they should. “Oh no!” he cried out as he started running across the other side of the road.
It was supposed to be a busy road but no single car or person passed by. All he could see was deserted cars with their door opened. Some of the cars skidded off the roads and some looks like they went up in flames.
As he got to the other side of the road, he was greeted by a hot breeze. Things look different. His city was one of the neatest in the world and now dirt is all littered all over the roads. It doesn’t look as if someone
