Chapter 97. The Torture: Where Is Belius?

THE LOG CABIN IN THE WOODS

           “Where the hell is Belius and how in the hell is he not dead?” Max strokes the dark-eyed priest in the face repeatedly.

           After much debate with Philip and Max on whether to allow Philip to come along with them to the log cabin, Helen stood for Philip and pleaded with Max to let him tag along but on one condition. ‘What condition,” Philip glanced at Helen with curiosity in his eyes.

           ‘Your wife should be in the morgue before you join us. She can’t be laying there because you want to get revenge for her. So, call the ambulance and meet us down in St Lewis Avenue in 15 minutes.’

           At first, Philip thought it was a trick for them to leave without him. The sun will soon set and whatever he needed to do must be done ASAP. Getting to St. Lewis Avenue, he was surprised to see them w
