Chapter 171. Back to School

Anna headed into the mansion and would go in and go to her room. She did not see Victor while on her way and she was grateful.

So now, she knew that she needed to call her parents. At least, that was the plan. 

But when she tried to make the call, it was like there was no service. She tried again and got the same result over and over.

It didn’t seem normal so she decided to ask one of the guards or maids about it. She was sure they would know what to do.

She headed out of the room and checked the hallway but it was empty. So she decided to walk a bit more.

That was when she ran into the same guard who had blackmailed her. “Hey, I think there’s something wrong with the service.”

He stopped in his tracks and then furrowed his brows. “Are you sure?”

“Yes, I’m sure. Take a look at my phone. Try to call or something.”
