Chapter 93. Heart to Heart

Carlos was taken aback, there was no way that he would want to stay back with whatever Zac was.

He wanted to leave with everyone else. “Why?” he asked, his voice shaking.

“Just listen to me, it’s for the best,” Zac replied, enjoying the fear he was bringing on the face of the guy.

Detective Willie did not complain; he just wanted to be out of there as soon as possible. He was the first to walk Zac as he entered the portal, and as soon as he did, a weird feeling went through his body and he found himself in the police station.

He was so confused and impressed at the same time. Was he scared? Not really; all he wanted was to know how Zac was doing all of this because he felt like the police force would really make use of these tricks.

As for Anna and Kevin, they lingered at the eye of the portal. “Are you sure we should go?” Anna asked, locking eyes with Zac.

He nodded. “It’s for the best. Carlos and I will handle his family.” He flashed a comfortin
