Chapter 5. Back from the Dead

Anna’s heart was racing. Was it the start of everything going wrong again? Could she not get a damn break?

“You know what? I’m going to go up to him after we board the plane,” she said to Zac boldly, even though the very thought sent a shiver down her spine.

“I… I don’t know if that is a good idea. I’m now your boyfriend. I don’t think I should allow you to do things like that, things that will put your life in danger.” He shook his head slowly, not liking the idea.

“Zac, the man who almost killed me and my entire family is just casually chilling and about the board the same plane that we’re boarding, and you want me to just… do nothing?” Anna said, her face twisting in annoyance.

She was not annoyed at Zac but at the whole fact that she could not catch a break as a person; something always had to be going wrong. If this was really Vito, after talking to him, she had plans of reporting his appearance to Detective Willie, making sure that the guy was locked up
