Three months had indeed passed, and life seemed to have settled back into a semblance of normalcy. Anna, Carlos, and Zac had returned to their routines, trying to bury the traumatic memories and rebuild their lives. However, the scars of the past lingered, affecting each of them in different ways.

Anna had thrown herself into her studies, finding solace in the familiarity of textbooks and lectures. Yet, every so often, she’d catch herself glancing over her shoulder, half expecting to see a ghost from her past lurking in the shadows.

Despite this, she pushed on, determined to reclaim her sense of normalcy.
