Chapter 7. First Time for Everything
Anna could not stop looking around. She headed to the floor-to-ceiling windows and the view was incredible. She felt so proud of herself and could not help but feel some sadness at the same time because she had not told her family.
At this point, she was wishing that she had. But at the same time, if she had done so, they would have not agreed for her to come here. They thought of her as their baby girl and she knew that they were always going to think of her that way.
That was something that was not going to change anytime soon, and she had made her peace with it; which was why she did not tell them. They would have for sure not agreed.
“Do you like it?” Zac asked, and she looked back at him. “It’s very big, and it’s much different than what you’re used to.”
