Chapter 45. What a Start!

Cassandra’s POV

We had the best sleep of our lives. Julian gifted me a personalized keepsake love box as my wedding gift to store all the gifts and trinkets that I had received for my wedding. It was really handy, and I loved it. I gave him a personalized bracelet, and he absolutely adored it. We dozed off, cuddled with one another after talking nearly till midnight.

So the next morning, we absolutely missed the sound of the alarm. We woke up startled to hear a loud knock on our door, making Julian curse loudly. I pulled on my dressing gown and Julian pulled on a pair of sweatpants and got up to open the door.

“What took you so long? We were knocking nearly all morning,” said Claire with a glare. Julian, too, glared back at her while I blushed, seeing them giggle at him.

“What the hell! Why are you guys here?” asked Julian irritatedly as Azura and Claire smirked at him.

“This has become a routine for us, waking them up and getting them married,” grumble
