Thankfully, I felt much better, and after a bath, I was totally refreshed. Mom was worried about me all the time and strangely, on my wedding day, I wasn’t at all missing my own parents. I knew that wherever they were; they were feeling happy to see me finally settle down in life. Mom came over to check up on me.

“Don’t stay on an empty stomach. Eat small meals throughout,” she advised me just as Gran had.

“Yes, mom. Azura already has a snack pack ready for me. Martha ensured we keep it with us in case any of us feel dizzy,” I told her.

Claire ushered me to a chair as she would work on my wedding hairstyle. She fixed my hair into a beautiful braided updo with loose tendrils hanging down, kissing my shoulders, softening the look. She placed jeweled hair combs to enhance the look. I was totally in love with what she did to my hair.

“Like it?” she asked when she was done. I admired her handiwork and smiled at her.

“I love it, thanks,”
