Azura’s POV

“What do you want from me, Adrian?” I couldn’t help but ask, as the suspense was killing me.

“Nothing to worry about. Have some patience. I’ll tell you when the time is right,” he said, to increase my anxiety.

“Tell me now, please. I want nothing physical with you. I’m not the type of girl to indulge in casual physical intimacy, if that’s what you’re asking for,” I blurted out, feeling quite upset. Why couldn’t he just tell me?

"It’s not what you’re thinking. I don’t want a physical relationship with you," he confirmed. 

“Then? I never had been with any guy before and it was really bothering me. Please, Adrian, I need this job to support my family,” the last part came out as a pleading whisper, hoping that my declining his advances wouldn’t affect my job. I really needed it.
