Azura’s POV 

The next two days went very busy for Adrian. He would have breakfast, as usual, kiss me, and go to his office. Bob would drive me home after my duty got over. I would come home and attend my classes. Then engage in my much-awaited long chat on the phone with Nana and my siblings. Emmy had long hours at the office. Nana told me that Theo seemed to have fallen head over heels in love with her. He even asked her to be his girlfriend. I felt a little upset that I couldn’t be with her to listen to what was happening in her life. We had always been close and had hidden nothing from one another. Adrian came in late from work. He went straight to bed, apparently; he had dinner at the hotel where he was working late.

I didn’t want to attend Stefan’s wedding, as I had nothing nice to wear. So I thought of making up some excuses and skipping the wedding discreetly. T
