Adrian’s attempt to make breakfast overwhelmed me. When he served me in bed, I felt bowled over by the sweet gesture. He made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches served with a plate of fresh strawberries and banana walnut muffins that I had bought on my way home three days back. Still covered with the duvet, and sat down to eat.
