Chapter 34. Separation Sucks
Stefan’s POV
I carried the breakfast up to my bedroom and opened the door to find Rosy emerging from the en-suite, freshly showered, and deliciously wrapped in a towel.
“Good morning, babe,” I said, walking in with the tray. “Breakfast is ready. Come on, tuck in.”
“Good morning, Stefan! Thanks, you could have woken me up. We could have made it together,” she said, smiling at the food. “I didn’t bring clothes. What do I wear?” I kept the tray on the coffee table near the sofa and went to the closet to check what I could find for her. Claire had stayed with me some months before her marriage when she was going through a rough patch with her fiancé. I found a light blue floral dress and brand new undergarments in a packet, with the price tags intact. There was a jacket too from her collection and took it to Rosy.
“Whose are these? Your girlfriend’s?” she asked suspiciously, scrunching up her nose.
“No, they are Claire’s. She stayed a month here before her
