Chapter 53. Meeting Annabelle's New Family

Stefan’s POV 

The next morning, I woke up to the sound of Rosy’s soft fluttery snores and it made me smile. She looked so adorable and glowed with happiness. It was the stark opposite of the image I saw when she first entered the hotel lobby. With all the misunderstandings cleared between us, we bonded more with one another. We became true soul mates. 

For the first time in my life, I didn’t feel the pain of remembering my past. I told her everything that I went through without even the slightest hesitation. It was like I was rephrasing some story straight out of a novel. I didn’t feel the pain of betrayal at all. I realized that Rosy’s love had healed me. It had given me the strength to move on. The love-making last night was too special as she shed all her inhibitions and started it herself. It was quite a feat considering her shy nature, and I loved it. I love this new life with my Rosy.
