Chapter 16. Meeting Tristan's Family

Amelia’s POV

“So, we meet again! How did you not recognize me before?” he asked, looking a little offended while I gaped at him. Did it look like I hadn’t recognized him when I was aching for him in reality?

“Why shouldn’t I recognize you? I thought you didn’t,” I pointed out to him and his jaws dropped with disbelief.

“How could I forget you, my baby doll?” he said with a teasing grin. I gaped at the familiar nickname he always used for me. So he remembered everything! I rolled my eyes at him, but my heart skipped a beat with joy. Were we back where we had left off?

“Stop flirting with me, Jay. And I’m not yours,” I reminded him, but he just grinned more. 

“You’ll soon be, don’t worry,” he said with a wider grin. “So did you miss me, baby doll?” he asked with a smirk as his eyes roamed all over me, shamelessly checking me out. My heart skipped a beat, seeing his gorgeous smile and the need in his eyes. I could drown in him and fall head over heels
