Chapter 24. Her Secrets

Walking through, I search for Luciano, finding him in Felicity's arms. She's playing with him, but doesn't look happy at all. Sure she is smiling and giggling with him, but her eyes say she isn't happy.

"You're not taking him back!" She holds him closer now that she has noticed me standing here and I laugh.

"It's fine, Felicity. You can keep him a bit longer." She grins and plays with him on the floor. I did want him but I won't take him as she is acting weird. Lucia stops next to me and looks at her.

"She's avoiding something." Turning, I look at Lucia, confused and see Iz joining us. "Has she spoken to you Iz?" Lucia looks at her.

"No, but she was weird using my kids as a distraction. I left them at home, though, with my sister."

I look back at Felicity, and I can see what they mean. She is laughing and playing with him, but her face screams something is wrong. I thought she was just unhappy, or hurt, but there's far more to it
