Chapter 8. The News
It was a classic, filmy morning for us. We limped our way after the 'dirty' to sleep below a nearby tree for the night. There were four trees acting like pillars for the growing field. One of it had an ants pillar, which we did not dare go even if it was the nearest.
The morning birds and the blooming the sunrise woke me up first. Aaron was completely knocked out.
I admire his side view, he was so handsome. I feel his prickly growing beard as I chuckle and retract my hand.
He was snoring cutely, like a little baby with his mouth slightly ajar. He surely was knocked out from last night. As I squirmed, I disrupted his beauty sleep regrettably.
"Sorry, sorry. Go back—"
"And leave you touching face and all? Nah. I'm awake." I widen my eyes.
