Chapter 9. Planning to Invade

Investigator Ms. Smyers reads our reaction. I almost tumble the chair backwards with the force I get up. Charlie and Gerroto stand amongst the many guards while I run towards them.

"It's going to be a little tough to accept a few things." I say to them.

Their concerned faces look at me, but I sense Aaron approaching. 

"Let's go take some rest and then discuss everything over som alcohol." His huge arms on our shoulders as he speaks and we agree right away. 

It turns evening from afternoon quickly. We were assembled at the drinkers' corner to enjoy the drinks and be depressed over everything.

"Good evening folks! Now, I shall tell you why we're all assembled here." Aaron takes the centre seat as he announces to us four. I look around and see many guards stationed around the hall, hidden under the shadows. 

"Yeah, it's not everyday that a rich businessman wants to mingle with common folk like us! Tell us, Aaron. We're dying to know."
