Chapter 30

As Nichole paced around her room, she remembered the anonymous call she had made earlier. She had reached out to someone who owed her a favor, and she knew they would be eager to help her. 

Her phone buzzed, and she picked it up, eager to hear what they had to say. "I've got something for you," the voice on the other end said. "I'll send you the information, and you can decide what to do with it."

A few minutes later, an email arrived in Nichole's inbox. She opened it, her eyes scanning the contents.

As Nichole read through the email, her heart sank. It contained a series of photos, showing Max and Carmela together, looking happy and intimate. 

Nichole's stomach turned, and she felt like she was going to be sick. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. 

Was this really happening? She didn't know what to do. Should she confront Max with the evidence, or try to forget she ever saw it?
