A faint grin dances along my lips as I lean back on my couch. My arms rest along the back while my fingers grasp the top of a short tumbler glass filled about half full of whiskey. Thoughts of my future wealth and power flutter about in my head as I slowly swirl the glass around in a circle.

This is just the beginning.

I have had so many dreams and ideas with my original alliance contract with Ted and Max’s packs, but those all have fallen flat when their stupid lunas got involved and halted everything. Why couldn’t those stupid women mind their own business? I’m not doing anything wrong. Plus, Bry is my child. I can parent the useless omega any way I want. No one can stop me.
