Chapter 113. Moving On

“Be my guest.” James knocks Cole down to his knees as the Knights of Hell watch. Cole had ordered them to stand down and not engage. “Hand the book over to Lacey, now!”

As soon as Hades handed the book to Lacey, James blasted Hades with an energy blast, knocking him down. He quickly opened a portal, grabbing Lacey with him. Before the Knights of Hell could reach the portal, the portal closed. What they could hear was the growling and barking of hellhounds approaching.

The Hellhounds have been after Hades for killing their mother and any demon seen around Hades will get the taste of their rage. Hades quickly picked himself up, stretched his hand for his pitchfork, and took a stance to strike.

The portal led James and Lacey to the south forest where the healer was waiting patiently for them. However, immediately Lacey sets foot on Earth, her appearances change. She looked transparent. “What is happening?” she asked, staring at herself.
