Chapter 209. The Eyes' Return

Without saying a word, Bonnie opened the wooden box and brought out a lapis lazuli stone. She placed it on Jane’s forehead and within a twinkling of an eye; it entered Jane’s body.

A bright light illuminates Jane knocking her off her feet. For some few seconds she was unconscious and the next second she exhales and quickly sat on her butt. “What did you do to me?” she asked with a serious look on her face.

Bonnie approached her and helped her to her feet as she opened her mouth to speak. “I perceive a very terrible battle coming. I might not be here to assist you with what you need. What I placed in you is called the ‘amulet of witches’ made of lapis lazuli stone. It is the highest gift any witch can bestow on anyone. With this in your body, you can be able to perform magic like my kind but beware of a dark art for it will consume you.”
