Chapter 213. Kissing You

Disappearing with the vampire, they both appeared in the dungeon. She tossed him into the dungeon and with a wave of her hand she slammed shut the iron gate of the dungeon.

“Let me out!”

“You know what will happen to you by sunrise?” Jane whispered. She turned with her eyes fixed on the vampire. She continued. “By sunrise, you see that tiny window behind you? The sun will set you ablaze and you and I know that you can’t stand the sun.”

Jane knew that vampires are afraid of certain things like a wooden stake through the heart, fire, decapitation, and exposure to sunlight. Perhaps if the vampire wants to see another night, he should tell Jane where Daniel has been all this while. She isn’t bluffing. Killing a vampire means nothing to her. After all, they are in a war as Amara has declared.

With a tiny window inside the dungeon, the vampire won’t survive the sunlight once the sun rises. Being exposed to the sun will set a vampire ablaze.
