"Not today," he muttered as he closed the door behind him and leaned on it. "Not today," he murmured again with his eyes closed. The memories of his childhood were reeling in and he did not want to go back there. It had taken him years to escape it, and that meant being distant from his father.
He would not be able to ask his father those pressing questions in this state. Yes, he was still running away from his childhood and his father, he admitted to himself.
