"What are you looking at?" Hendrix asked him.

"Nothing," he replied. "Let’s go have breakfast. We both have urgent matters to attend to," Alex added as he proceeded towards the dining room and Hendrix followed.

"Right," he replied.

As they say down, Mia walked down the stairs with Karen, James, and Tia. They had already formally greeted in the hallway.

"Good morning, everyone," Mia greeted Alex and Hendrix as she pulled her seat backward and sat down.

"Morning," Alex and Hendrix chorused.

"Good morning, father. Good morning, Mother," Hendrix greeted James and Karen.

"Morning, Hendrix," James replied with a smile as he pulled Karen’s seat backward and she sat down before he pulled his seat backward.

"Thanks, honey," Karen said as she turned a sweet smile in Hendrix’s direction. "How’re you doing today?" Karen asked him as she sat comfortably beside her husband.

Hendrix returned her smile. "Very well, mother. I hope you slept well?
