Her thighs eased open and she leaned into him, letting out the softest, strangled little moan. He pulled his fingers out of her and let her slide down the wall. For a moment he just stood there, hesitating.
It hadn’t happened yet. He hadn’t done it yet. Hadn’t scared her off yet. They could stop now and talk like sensible people. Her determined, stubborn face when she first saw him and slammed the bathroom door in his face stopped the thinking.
Down came the zipper of his pants, followed by the undoing of the button. He took off his pants with his boxers, all while watching her deliberate. The shirt came next. With every button he lost more and more willpower. He was stalling, giving her an out. This was the best he could do. She was gone for over 24 hours. Too long. Should’ve been with her helping her pick up the pieces, letting her pick up the shattered fragments of his mind and reassure him that nothing would change. That he could still be with her. Always be with her
