On her feet and out of Aaron’s arms in seconds, Keira shoved him into the shower, following him inside as she undid the belt with her teeth.
He must have been delusional, thinking he’d taken control of her. What if he had been delusional all along and she really felt nothing for him?
She closed the door behind her. It was just them again, but now the delicate truce they’d struck was broken.
“Nathan heard screaming and this explanation is only making this weirder. Leaving now,” said Kate, backing out of the bathroom.
“Is Kei okay? Are you okay, Kei?!” Nathan called out from behind Kate, poking his head into the bathroom.
“I’m good, Nate. Everything’s okay,” Keira yelled back.
It wasn’t though. The embarrassing situation they found themselves in should’ve had her in stitches by now, but it didn’t. She was breathing hard, had her back turned to him, her head buried in a corner, as far away from him as possible.
