Seven’s POV
“Anywhere far away from this place,” I muttered under my breath.
He didn’t answer my question, so I didn’t bother to give him any attention. He didn’t want to listen to me, but he wanted me to listen to him. That was not how this worked; it didn’t work the way he wanted it to.
If he was going to ignore me and what I had to say, then I might have to do the same to him.
I wouldn’t listen to him. I would say the things that I wanted to say; I wouldn’t keep calm.
He had to start speaking to me like an adult. It might not sit well with me, but it would show me that he regarded me, and not just made decisions for me because he felt like it.
I felt some kind of way because when we came here, I thought this was going to be an in-and-out situation. We wouldn’t need to be here more than the necessary time, but that wasn’t the case. Now I have become so into Shantelle that half of my thoughts are for her.
