Chapter 45
The three beings dipped their legs into the dead sea's shore, shivering as the cold water touched their skin.
Hodesh led King Aaron out of the water, leaving Marvel to drag the small boat out of the water and hide it under one of the beach grasses, away from human sight.
Eventually, Marvel, Hodesh, and King Aaron made their way past the canyon that divided the territory of Isengard from the wilderness, all the way to the other side of the boundary and into the mainland.
Marvel couldn't believe that they'd made it to Isengard before dawn. She should've rested the previous day to regain her vitality. She could've urged them to set up camp, especially with King Aaron, who was still trying to recover from the wound on his face.
