He sighed wondering why coming here today had not buoyed his mood as always. He had come to take these moments he have with her as his therapeutic sessions where he can bare everything to her even if she would never be able to reply to him. The words he couldn’t say to his wife. The woman was always looking at him with hope in her eyes and an inherent carefulness that he could almost feel sorry for breathing wrong around her. He heaved a deep sigh again as he looked at Evelyn’s shiny names on the headstone as tears came to his eyes “Only you understand, babe. Sorry for bringing my crappy mood to you today. See you later” he said as he turned to leave, keeping his keys in his back pocket.
