Marissa was furious that she passed the turn that led to their former house before swearing at the bastard that got her in a tiff as she turned back at the next junction, as she knew that if she left that day, she might not be able to check on them again in a long time.

She did not meet the man at home, but she met his wife. They had a discussion, and by the time she left there, she was spitting mad. The woman had told her that he came over asking after Evelyn, and they had finally told him about the unfortunate incident, and they were the ones that gave him the direction to the cemetery.
