Tomiwa dragged her bag in after her as she hurriedly got into the Uber and told the driver to step on it. Agitation was evident on her face as she rhythmically tapped her finger against her carry-on without having any idea that she was even doing that.
She thought of how she would have arrived earlier, but she had been unable to leave everything they had started work on, so she delegated duties to her team member and had a meeting with all her teammates before requesting to meet Yomade. The latter had sympathized with her and told her to go home on time before asking Tomiwa, with worry etched on her face, if that would mean that that project would be halted.
