Chapter 22. When the Plan Backfires

All the kids had slept and Mrs Roberts was already dozing off. Amanda stayed awake, her anticipation building. She glanced at her phone repeatedly, checking for messages from Mrs Laura. Mr. Kenny too didn’t call her.
