Belle’s POV

‘He is true! Levi Hood is a real person!’ My mind has been screaming since seeing the person for the second time.

I couldn’t figure out why I had become so infatuated with him. While I recognize that he is not normal, I am not too worried in the least.

“Can you tell me what’s wrong? Are you still looking up after Andres rescued you from the falls?” It was Zeke who asked. It was also the first time he’d spoken to me since we’d left the house.

But rather than responding, I stand up and say, “I forgot something. I’ll be right back,” I pledge, taking a quick step.

“Love, it’s possible Belle feels out of place because she doesn’t have a partner,” Sam remarked, which I overheard and picked up on.
