Belle’s POV

“Fuck!” I exclaimed as I noticed the green lizard man devouring my blood.

I was quick to react. I quickly drew the hunter blade behind me and waved it at the creature that was still clinging to me.

It jumped away quickly, but it couldn’t completely avoid my sharp blade.

“So you’re keeping this monster hidden?” I looked at Laura, who was stunned. She looks at me and then moves closer to the lizard man.

“Alex, my God! What exactly did you do? He’s only afraid, but he never hurts anyone!” Laura exclaimed, tearing up as she saw the cut in Alex’s stomach.

“Is that Alex?” I was taken aback when I saw Laura begin to cry.

I had no idea the creature attacking me was Alex. I would never use the hunter blade on him if I knew.

I quickly approached and saw how badly Alex had been injured.

Even though Alex has done a lot of wrong to me, he is still one of my university friends, and that will continue regardless of what happens.
