Belle’s POV

Two days before the party, Zeke asked Audrey to come with me to buy a dress for me to wear to the party. And since Audrey will also come, she agreed.

“Don’t think we’re close. I will go with you on this shopping trip because I have no choice; Vance has pleaded to me because of Zeke,” Audrey explained as she came towards me.

“Don’t worry, I won’t think we’re getting close. And I also know you need to buy clothes to wear,” I replied, smiling at Audrey.

“Alright, then, let’s get started,” Audrey says with a poker face.

While Audrey is already walking, I shake my head in amusement.

Audrey enjoys shopping, so I’m not surprised she’s headed in that direction.

“Vance said you should dress formal but not too formal, so I think a cocktail dress would be ideal,” Audrey explained as she entered a boutique.

“That’s perfect,” I said as I examined the dress on display.

Audrey began looking for a dress, and I complied with the suit.
