Chapter 205

Zeke awoke in a strange room. He looked up at the ceiling for a few seconds, remembering what had happened.

“Finally, you’re awake,” Belle murmured as she supported Zeke in standing. Her face is lit up with a gentle smile.

“Thank you,” Zeke says, looking at the girl by his side. He can still sense the indifference knowing that the girl next to him is not Belle.

“Mom, please come here and check on Zeke,” Belle asked her mother, who was busy in another room.

“There’s no need... Don’t worry, I’m fine,” Zeke said as he stood up. Belle directed Zeke’s path toward Belinda.

“How could you move so quickly? Your injury is serious. It’s amazing you’re still fighting,” Belinda said. She finished wrapping a bandage around her severed arm.

“Thank you for saving me earlier. If not for you, I might be dead,” Zeke responds gratefully.

“Babe, you should thank me too. I did pretty well earlier,” Belle replied while smiling broadly.
