Chapter 206
Britney’s POV
When the elevator doors opened, the three of us were prepared to fight. But the silence and darkness of the place greeted us. The power cables were flashing as the bulbs were smashed on the floor.
“It looks like the party is over,” I observed as I took in my surroundings. I didn’t feel a single life on this floor, so I exited the elevator quickly.
“I didn’t expect this to happen,” Zeke says, his voice filled with rage at Levi. Zeke had faith in Levi. He also begged not to kill, particularly the trainees.
“Hmm, don’t worry, I still hear some heartbeats outside this building,” I say after listening with my ears.
“Can you determine who is human and who is a monster?” Zeke asked.
“It’s better if we look separately. It’s easier for us to find survivors,” Belinda suggested.
I look at my mother, then at Zeke. Because they are both injured, there is a good chance that they will be harmed if they come across packs of wolves or monsters
