Dr. Chen’s POV

I leaned back in my chair while sighing loudly. I’ve been studying the dean’s blood for a few days now, but I still don’t see how someone bitten by an Alpha becomes a hybrid.

I got up and walked around, staring at the dean in chains.

“You will find nothing in my blood, whatever you do!” The dean exclaimed on me while smirking.

“It looks like your saying is correct. There’s nothing special about your blood, so I need a sample of your grandson,” I said as I gathered my equipment and prepared to leave.

“Then release me from this chain!”

“I can’t do that. You already entered the world that you shouldn’t enter, and there’s no way to get back to your old life,” I responded and glanced at him.

“Please have mercy... I promise to keep this secret from everyone, just let me go.”

I sign out of sympathy. It is not up to me to make the decision.
