“I thought this night was just for us?” Zeke asked, frowning as he approached Belle’s house.

“Audrey fought with her parents again, so please excuse her,” Belle explained, her puppy eyes fixed on Zeke.

“Then call Vance and tell her not to bother us,” Zeke exclaimed.

“Hello, Zeke! Belle’s home is far too large for the two of you! And I’m going to stay in the living room and watch TV!” Audrey declared, her gaze fixed on Zeke.

Zeke just sighed and didn’t fight back because he knew he’d lose as well.

And, true to Audrey’s promise, she went straight to the living room and turned on the television, while Belle and Zeke went to the kitchen to prepare their food.

“I didn’t recognize him because he pinned me to the wall right away. This hybrid is more powerful than doctor Larry,” Belle replied, shaking her head as she remembered what had happened.

“Then the next time you see this hybrid, don’t chase him, especially if you’re alone,” Zeke says as he w
