Sophia’s POV

We waked slowly. Not necessarily because we were tired, but because we had to consider Camila who was carrying James on her shoulder.

After a while, Derek took over and begun carrying James. And like that the drill went until we had all passed James around and taken our various turns to carry him. James was a human being so it was not surprising that he would find the whole ordeal of mind warfare very taxing.

I remember the first time I had attempted to invade my mum’s mind during a training section. It was not a fun experience to say the least. I had developed a headache after just five minutes of trying and I was the one attacking.

All that had happened to me who had both magic in my blood and werewolf gene, not to talk about James who was a normal human being with neither magic nor werewolf gene but was here in the underworld and had had his head used as a battle ground between me, a now powerful entity that possessed not just my own
