Chapter 18

Sophia’s POV

Our journey continues. We finally got some sleep and continued our hike in search of the boundary between the underworld and the heavens. We took a break to look at the map hoping we would find some clues.

“Any clue where we should be heading James?” asked Lucas.

“Not much detail here, but I tried to create a path to hell,” James said.

“Why hell though?” I asked.

“Well, obviously it’s because hell ought to the closest place on this map to the heavens,” James replied.

“What makes you speculate that?” Camilla asked.

“When people die they usually reincarnate either in heaven, hell or back on Earth,” James replied. “And if we take earth out of the equation as religions like Christianity and Islam do, we see that we are only left with either heaven or hell. Hence, from a logical standpoint, the blood emerald must lie between hell and the heavens,” James added.
