Sophia’s POV

“I’m done. We can go now and meet the others. They might be tired of waiting,” I slowly said after taking a clear view of my surroundings. The sun was set up high and the afternoon wind blew the remaining mist away.

I looked around and still saw some sticking around. Waiting for night to come so that they can start their display.

“Oh? That’s good, let’s go and then we can discuss everything with them,” He said as he got up too. I nodded and he waved his hand indicating that I follow him.

With a small nod I followed him slowly behind as my thoughts trailed off. I was still in need of thoughts thinking about all the things that was going on.

We have really gone far together that we even lost the track of time.

Today’s incident made me remember the feeling of being hopeless and fearful.

A smile crept on my face as I stared at the broad shoulders of Derek.
