“So, how have you been Lauren?” I asked my middle school best friend with a smile.

“I have been good, you know. Just there.” She replied and sipped from her coffee.

“Ah! This is refreshing. Just the way I want it.” She breathed out with a smile after sipping the coffee.

“I heard they make good coffee and I decided we should have one here too.” I told her. I took a sip from mine and nodded my head, as if approving the taste.

“What about you? How have you been? How is marriage life treating you? How did you meet your husband too?” Lauren asked in a rush.

“Calm down Lauren, slow down on the questions, will you?” I laughed.
